Dr. James Monks completed his undergraduate studies at Montclair State University in 2002. Later that year, he went on to attend the University of Bridgeport, College of Chiropractic and obtained his DC degree in 2006. Upon graduation, Dr. Monks works in private practice in Manhattan as well as in Nyack NY.
In addition to his existing education, Dr. Monks feels that continuing growth and knowledge is vital in better understanding a patient’s needs. As such, he has been busy working on a Masters degree in Nutrition, as well as an advanced degree in Neurology.
Dr. Monks has been listed twice in the Who's Who Among Executives and Professionals, has recieved awards from the American Chiropractic Association, as well as the University of Bridgeport. He has given lectures to various groups pertaining to topics as varied as "the nature of memory", "the science of vaccination", "sports injuries in children", and others.
