• What is Chiropractic?
  • Chiropractic is a health care profession that focuses on disorders of the musculoskeletal system and the nervous system, and the effects of these disorders on general health.  Chiropractic care is used most often to treat neuromusculoskeletal complaints, including but not limited to back pain, neck pain, pain in the joints of the arms or legs, and headaches.

Does treatment hurt?
  • Treatments are custom designed by Dr. Monks to be gentle and easy on all patients whose ages range from 2 years old, to some over 80.
What are some of the conditions that are treated?
  • We treat many patients with back pain, headaches and sports injuries, as well as patients with ADD/ADHD, dizziness and many other conditions.
Is chiropractic care safe?
  • Chiropractic medicine is widely recognized as one of the safest, drug-free, non-invasive therapies available for the treatment of back pain, neck pain, joint pain of the arms or legs, headaches and other neuromusculoskeletal complaints. Although chiropractic has an excellent safety record, we know that no health treatment is completely free of potential adverse effects.
Do I have to get treated forever?
  • Absolutely not. Our treatment goal is to get our patients well as quickly as possible and then discharge them. Many patients do choose to come back every once in a while for a check-up, much like going to the dentist.
